Lorenzo Wheeler, a 30-year-old resident of Winchester, Virginia, was tragically killed on June 30, 2020. The Winchester Police Department (WPD) responded to a call at approximately 10:38 p.m. regarding a male lying in the roadway on North Kent Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered Wheeler near his rental vehicle, a 2019 Hyundai passenger car, suffering from a gunshot wound to his torso. He was immediately transported to the Winchester Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.
