On March 13, 2024, Terry Player, a 24-year-old man, and his 15-year-old sister, Terri Player, were found shot to death inside a parked car in the Roseland neighborhood of Chicago. The incident occurred in the 200 block of West 109th Place, where police responded to a ShotSpotter report of 18 rounds fired just after 12:30 a.m..
