Kevin Patel, a 28-year-old man, was fatally shot on April 16, 2025, outside his home in Lincoln Park, Chicago. The incident occurred around 9:20 p.m. in the 800 block of West Lill Avenue, just steps away from his residence. Witnesses reported hearing gunfire and saw a man and a woman fleeing toward Halsted Street immediately after the shooting. Patel, an actuary, succumbed to his injuries that night.
