Kalil Austin, a 25-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on May 30, 2022, in the Burnside neighborhood of Chicago, IL. The incident occurred around 7:45 p.m. when Kalil and two other men were near a sidewalk in the 1300 block of East 93rd Street. Suddenly, an unknown assailant opened fire, striking Kalil in the chest. He was immediately transported to Trinity Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
