Lorenzo Lonnell Lancaster, a 42-year-old African American man, was tragically shot and killed on March 18, 2016, in the Humboldt Park neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred at approximately 1:52 p.m. in the 3700 block of West Division Street. Lancaster was shot in the chest and was subsequently transported to Norwegian American Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 2:38 p.m. Lancaster resided in the 3400 block of West Ohio Street.
