Leetemi Daniels, a 41-year-old African American male, was tragically shot to death on October 20, 2018, in East Garfield Park, Chicago. The incident occurred just after 2:30 p.m. in the 3100 block of West Washington Boulevard. Daniels was struck multiple times in the abdomen and chest and was pronounced dead at the scene. This marked the second homicide in the same block within a 24-hour period, highlighting the alarming rate of gun violence in the area.
