Terrance Lamonte Cox, a 28-year-old African American male, was fatally shot on May 17, 2018, in the Austin neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. The incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. in the 1100 block of North Mason Street. Cox was struck in the back and abdomen and was subsequently transported to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
