Roger Malcom, a 24-year-old African American sharecropper from Monroe, Georgia, was brutally murdered on July 25, 1946, in what became known as the Moore's Ford lynching. This tragic event, often referred to as the 'Last Mass Lynching in the United States,' involved the killing of four young African Americans by a white mob.
