In the early morning hours of Saturday, June 17, 2017, a dispute between two men visiting a home in the Woodlake subdivision in Monroe, Georgia, turned fatal. Scott Ashley Rager, a 41-year-old male from Kennesaw, was shot and killed during the altercation. The Walton County Sheriff's Office responded to the incident and found Rager deceased at the scene.

Investigators quickly identified Daniel Tabor Reed, a 38-year-old from Atlanta, as the suspected shooter. According to reports, Rager, a ...
