Ronald Edward Folkerts, a 51-year-old white male from Monroe, GA, tragically passed away on October 25, 2018. His death was the result of a murder-suicide involving his wife, Brittney Suzanne Folkerts, aged 45. The incident occurred at their home on Glen Iris Drive. According to Monroe Interim Police Chief RV Watts, preliminary investigations indicated that Brittney Folkerts shot Ronald Folkerts before notifying one of her adult sons, who then called 911.
