In the early morning hours of October 25, 2018, a tragedy unfolded in Monroe, Georgia, ending the life of 51-year-old Ronald Edward Folkerts, a white male. The events began when police received a 911 call around 3:20 a.m. from the ex-husband of Brittney Suzanne Folkerts, 45. Brittney had called her adult son, who was with his father, to confess that she had just shot her husband, Ronald, at their home on Glen Iris Drive.
