On a winter afternoon in Junction City, Kansas, the quiet of January 26, 2022, was shattered by the discovery of a grim scene. In a residence in the 600 block of West Vine Street, law enforcement officers found the bodies of two men, both victims of gunshot wounds. One of the men was identified as Jeremy John Brown, a 42-year-old White/Caucasian male from Pottawatomie County. The other victim was 26-year-old Blake McCoy of Junction City.
