Chester Addis 'Shuggie' Alday, a 30-year-old white male, was brutally murdered on May 14, 1973, in Donalsonville, Georgia. Born on May 7, 1943, Shuggie was a farmer who worked alongside his family. On that tragic day, Shuggie, along with five other members of the Alday family, fell victim to a horrific crime that shocked the small community and the nation.
