Devonte Mumford, a 21-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on August 29, 2014, in Savannah, Georgia. He was found with a gunshot wound in the parking lot of a sports bar on Skidaway Road. The incident occurred shortly before 8:30 p.m. on that fateful Friday night. Despite being rushed to Memorial Health University Medical Center, Devonte succumbed to his injuries.
