Shawn Lawrence Passmore, a 49-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on July 19, 2022, in Savannah, Georgia. The incident occurred around 12:15 a.m. near East 54th and Live Oak streets, where Shawn Passmore and another individual, Cannon Phillips, 25, were found suffering from gunshot wounds. Both victims were transported to Memorial University Medical Center, where Shawn Passmore succumbed to his injuries, while Cannon Phillips remained in serious condition.
