In the early morning hours of December 15, 2017, the life of 40-year-old Theron A. Warner was tragically cut short in Savannah, Georgia. Officers responded to a call to check on a person in the 1100 block of East 67th Street around 7:40 a.m. and discovered Mr. Warner deceased from injuries sustained in a shooting.
An investigation into the death of the male victim was launched by the Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department's Violent Crimes detectives. Through their diligent work, investigators determined that Theron Warner had been involved in criminal activity with another individual, 24-year-old George Bostick. The investigation concluded that Bostick's actions directly led to the fatal shooting of Warner.
On December 26, 2017, authorities arrested George Bostick in connection with the death of Theron Warner. He was subsequently charged with felony murder. Theron Warner was remembered in an obituary and his funeral service was held on December 23, 2017, with his interment at Woodville Cemetery.
