In the late afternoon of March 11, 2021, a burst of gunfire shattered the calm at the Moss Pointe Apartments on Abercorn Street in Savannah, Georgia. When police arrived at the scene around 2:40 p.m., they discovered two men suffering from gunshot wounds. One of the victims was 30-year-old Joseph Wilder. Both he and the other man, Bernard Greene, were immediately transported to a nearby hospital for medical attention.
