Florencia Gomez-Mendez, a 33-year-old carpenter and father of three, was tragically shot and killed on January 24, 2015, in Forest Park, Georgia. The incident occurred while he was walking home from a store, and it is believed to have been an apparent robbery. The shooting took place within the common area of the Bradford Ridge Apartments, a location known for its high crime rate.
