The incident occurred at the Rumors Night Club located on the 3900 block of Jonesboro Road. According to reports, an altercation inside the club escalated, leading to a deadly shooting. When officers arrived at the scene, they found Wayne James Jr. with a gunshot wound to his chest. Despite being rushed to a nearby hospital, he succumbed to his injuries.
