Emmanuel Robert Gent, a 26-year-old man from Rocky Mount, North Carolina, was tragically shot and killed on the night of May 21, 2012. The incident occurred outside a house at 1414 Branch Street, where Gent was visiting his friend Tavarius Monquele Alston, also 26 years old.
