Jose Antonio Martinez, a 17-year-old Hispanic male, was found dead on June 24, 2014, in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. His death was the result of a violent altercation that occurred during a drug deal. The incident took place at a house located at 224 Jackson Street, where police responded to a report of an aggravated assault. Upon arrival, they discovered Martinez's lifeless body.
