Keenan Marshall Mercer, a 21-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on September 15, 2017, in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. Keenan was riding his bicycle near 843 S Pine Street at approximately 9:40 AM when he was shot. The investigation revealed that 9mm shell casings were found at the scene, indicating that he was shot multiple times. Despite the efforts of law enforcement, the case remains unsolved, and no arrests have been made.
