Albert Earl Dew, a 50-year-old male from Rocky Mount, NC, tragically lost his life on January 27, 2021. Dew was fatally shot in the 1400 block of S. Franklin Street around 8:50 PM. When the Rocky Mount Police Department arrived at the scene, they found a vehicle crashed into a home and discovered Dew with a gunshot wound. Despite efforts to save him, emergency personnel pronounced him deceased at the scene.
