Devone Brown, a 28-year-old male from Rocky Mount, North Carolina, tragically lost his life on December 1, 2022. He was found shot to death alongside 24-year-old Destiny Wiggins, a mother of four, in the front seat of a car parked in the lot of Barnhill Construction in Rocky Mount. The discovery was made by employees arriving for work early in the morning. The two victims were pronounced dead at the scene, while Wiggins' two young children were found unharmed but cold in the backseat of the car.
