John Donahue, a 49-year-old resident of Forest Park, Georgia, was fatally shot on May 20, 2024, outside his home located on Burks Road.

The incident began with an altercation between a woman in the front yard and a man walking by. According to John Randle, the victim's brother, the argument escalated into threats, and the man subsequently pulled out a gun and started shooting multiple rounds.
