On November 14, 2015, Emanuel Simmons, a 31-year-old African American male, was fatally shot in Savannah, Georgia. The incident occurred around 2:30 a.m. at the intersection of West 45th and Montgomery Streets. Emergency responders transported Simmons to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
