On a Christmas evening in Savannah, Georgia, the life of Randy Hooks, a 63-year-old Caucasian male, came to a violent and tragic end. On December 25, 2015, police responded to a ShotSpotter alert indicating gunfire near the intersection of Reynolds and East 40th streets. Arriving at the scene, they found a pickup truck that had collided with two other vehicles and a tree. Inside the truck, they discovered the body of Randy Hooks.
