On a Sunday evening, just before 8 p.m. on December 27, 2009, tragedy struck 25-year-old Brandon Tyree McCullough, an African American male, in Savannah, Georgia. He was fatally shot outside his apartment at the Oaks of Brandlewood, the victim of a single, close-range gunshot wound to the head from a. 38 caliber weapon. When police arrived, they found McCullough slumped against a wall with a lit cigarette still in his mouth. He was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. ...
