In the late summer of 2023, the city of Savannah, Georgia, was rocked by a violent act that claimed the lives of two men. On August 9th, 32-year-old Eric Townsend Jr. was fatally shot at the Fenwick Village Apartments. Another man, 27-year-old Robert Johnson, also lost his life in the incident. The event that unfolded was not a random act of violence but a deadly armed robbery that cut short the lives of two individuals.
