In the autumn of 2020, the life of a young Savannah high school student was tragically cut short. Corey Roosevelt Adderley, a 16-year-old African American male, died on October 12, 2020, after sustaining a gunshot wound. At the time of his death, he was a tenth grader at Savannah High School and was well-regarded by those who knew him.
