Brandon Mar-quez Champion, a 25-year-old African-American male from Atlanta, Georgia, was fatally shot in the early morning hours of April 17, 2016, in Savannah, Georgia. He had traveled to the area to attend the Orange Crush event, a popular beach gathering.
