Ramone "Monie" Bowers, an 18-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on September 25, 2006, in Savannah, Georgia. Bowers, a sophomore at Johnson High School, was shot 11 times with a .40-caliber pistol in the 300 block of East Duffy Street. The brutal attack left the community in shock and mourning.
