Aahkil Heyward, a 22-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on March 16, 2016, in Savannah, Georgia. The incident occurred during a botched armed robbery at his mother's residence. Heyward was found shot to death at the bottom of the steps leading to his mother's apartment.
