On December 21, 2014, 24-year-old Jamal Teleast Elliott was fatally shot in the Yamacraw Village area of Savannah, Georgia. Elliott was on the front porch of a housing complex unit when he was gunned down around 2:39 p.m. Emergency responders arrived on the scene, but he was declared dead shortly after.
