A man dies of gunshot wounds
In the late afternoon of August 18, 2015, in the 200 block of Wilder Drive in Savannah, Georgia, 20-year-old Marquail DeShawn Banner was found with life-threatening injuries from a shooting. Emergency services transported the young African-American man to a nearby hospital, but tragically, he succumbed to his injuries. Known to his loved ones as 'Fat Quail,' his transition on that Tuesday at Memorial Health University Medical Center marked a sorrowful end to a young life.
