A man dies of gunshot wounds
On August 18, 2015, Marquail Deshaun Banner, age 20, was fatally shot in the Fred Wessels Homes neighborhood on Wilder Drive in Savannah, Georgia. Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police officers arrived at the scene around 5:00 PM and found Banner suffering from life-threatening gunshot wounds. He was quickly transported to a local hospital but succumbed to his injuries shortly thereafter.
