Ardearrin Christopher L. Jefferson, a 19-year-old Black male from Savannah, was shot late on the night of July 17, 2013, near 725 Yamacraw Village, a public housing complex downtown. Police said residents heard a burst of gunfire around 11:40 p.m., and when officers reached the scene they found him wounded by gunshots.
