Eugene Dominique Powell, 25, was shot and killed on September 12, 2016, in Savannah, Georgia. The tragic incident took place in the Tatemville neighborhood, where Powell was found with fatal gunshot wounds. Initial reports indicated that Powell had been targeted in a robbery just days before his murder.
