On a Sunday evening in Savannah, Georgia, the life of 25-year-old Willie Bostic, an African American male, was cut short in a burst of gunfire. The shooting occurred on November 16, 2014, at the Westlake Apartments, a place that would become the scene of a tragedy that left a family grieving and a community searching for answers. The Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department was called to the scene where they found Bostic with fatal gunshot wounds.
