Alonzo Lee Richardson, a 30-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on May 7, 2015, in Savannah, Georgia. The incident occurred outside the Heritage Place apartments on the 700 block of Lavinia Street. Central Precinct patrol officers responded to the scene around 8 p.m. and found Richardson with a gunshot wound. He was immediately transported to Memorial University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
