On November 13, 2016, 23-year-old Antonio Devaras Swink was fatally shot near Oxford, Alabama. Authorities discovered Swink suffering from a gunshot wound on Smith Street that morning; he was subsequently transported to Northeast Alabama Medical Center in Anniston, where he succumbed to his injuries.
