Death by Force

On a Wednesday afternoon, September 23, 2020, 30-year-old Christopher Washington was waiting at a bus stop in the 400 block of Southern Avenue, SE in Washington, D.C. It was approximately 2:24 p.m. when his life was abruptly and violently cut short. A stolen white pickup truck pulled up, and a man armed with an assault rifle emerged and opened fire, killing Mr. Washington at the scene.
