In the early hours of a summer morning in Washington, D.C., the life of John Precia, a 24-year-old male, was tragically cut short. On Thursday, August 4, 2022, at approximately 12:19 a.m., the sounds of gunshots shattered the quiet of the 3300 block of 14th Place, Southeast. When officers from the Seventh District arrived at the scene, they found Mr. Precia suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
