Jerald "Poochie" Allen, a 36-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on February 5, 2016, in Savannah, Georgia. Allen was shot outside a gas station on the 1800 block of Montgomery Street around 8:15 p.m. He was accompanied by Rashidd Wright, a 26-year-old male, who was also shot during the incident. Both men were transported to Memorial University Medical Center, where Allen succumbed to his injuries.
