Dewenzel James Spence, a 41-year-old African American male, was tragically found dead on June 3, 2016, in a wooded area off Queens Mill Road in Mableton, Georgia. His body was discovered in a highly decomposed state, indicating that he had been killed days earlier, on May 31, 2016. Spence, who was an employee at Hormel Foods and regularly used the MARTA transit system, was last seen walking from his home on McDonough Boulevard in southeast Atlanta towards the Five Points MARTA station.
