On June 21, 2023, a fatal shooting occurred on Whispering Pines Road in Mableton, Georgia, resulting in the death of 35-year-old Marquel Gammage. The incident happened at approximately 1:29 PM when officers from the Cobb County Police Department responded to a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, they found three men involved in the incident: Marquel Gammage, Jeremiah Davis, and Jocques Williams.
