Roman Orlando Mejia-Nunez, a 24-year-old Hispanic male from Austell, Georgia, tragically lost his life on November 2, 2019. The incident occurred at the Waverly Mobile Home Park located at 100 Plantation Hill Road SE in Mableton, Georgia. Mejia-Nunez was shot around 12:15 a.m. and was being driven to the hospital by friends when they flagged down a Cobb County police officer at a QuikTrip gas station on Mableton Parkway.
