Robert Purcell, a 40-year-old white male, was found dead on May 28, 2016, in Stone Mountain, Georgia. Purcell, who worked at a pizza restaurant in Snellville, was reported missing by his co-workers after he failed to show up for work. His body was discovered in his vehicle, which was parked on the exit ramp from Highway 78 westbound to Hugh Howell Road. Purcell had been shot, and the wound did not appear to be self-inflicted. Authorities believe that robbery was the motive behind the murder.
