In a tragic turn of events on a Monday afternoon in Stone Mountain, Georgia, a domestic dispute culminated in the death of 44-year-old Michael Robinson. The incident, which occurred on August 22, 2022, unfolded inside a residence on Deep Springs Drive where Michael lived with his older brother.
That afternoon, a 911 call was placed by 47-year-old Arron Robinson, who informed the dispatcher that he had just shot his brother. Gwinnett County police officers were dispatched to the home and, upon arrival, found Michael Robinson deceased from multiple gunshot wounds. Arron Robinson surrendered to the authorities at the scene without any resistance.
Family members who spoke to reporters acknowledged that there had been past troubles between the two brothers, with some mentioning that both men dealt with mental health issues. One of Michael's nephews, Samari Robinson, described his uncle as a charismatic and handsome man who had been a father figure to him and had inspired his pursuit of a music career.
