On a summer evening in Stone Mountain, Georgia, the life of 28-year-old Deven Tillis was tragically cut short by a senseless act of violence. On July 24, 2022, a day his mother was celebrating her birthday, Tillis was fatally shot in the stomach as he left a Citgo gas station on Rockbridge Road. He had been on his way to his 8-year-old son's football game.
