On May 2, 2023, a quadruple shooting occurred in the early morning hours at a residence on Cedar Park Trail in Stone Mountain, DeKalb County, Georgia. The incident resulted in the deaths of two individuals, including 36-year-old DeeNay Munford and 36-year-old Twayne Worthy. Both men succumbed to their injuries from the shooting.
