On July 9, 2023, 56-year-old Anthony Bronson was found shot to death at the Park at 500 Apartment Homes in Stone Mountain, Georgia. The incident led to a nearly month-long manhunt for the suspect, who was identified as Ahmed Kawah, the brother of the victim.
